Automotive Elegance is proud to present Chapter 8, unleashing the WORLD FAMOUS 1991 Ferrari F40 in Rosso Rorsa! The F40 was the last car Enzo Ferrari commissioned in his lifetime. It’s debut was on the 40th anniversary of the Ferrari Corporation in 1987, which attributes the denomination “F40.”

There were three major factors behind the design of this vehicle: Weight, horsepower, and intake… First, the body of the car was constructed entirely out of carbon fiber, making it as light as possible. Weighing in at only 2,425 lbs, this twin-turbo charged V8 was maxed out at 478 horsepower and has a top speed of 201 mph! They incorporated “NACA ducts” originally developed for airplanes to take in the most amount of air with little to no drag.

Prior to the installation, The vehicle is fully prepped with an extensive hand-wash and clay bar treatment. This process is key, to remove any contaminants that could be trapped underneath the film.  Once completed, we move forward to complete the PPF installation.

The owner of the vehicle opted to go with our #‎AE‬ Platinum Package (Full Front) using the revolutionary XPEL Ultimate Paint Protection Film. This package offers coverage to the full surface of the hood, full fenders, custom front bumper, side view mirrors and headlights. He decided to go with additional coverage to the rocker panels. Since there was no pattern available for this model, it was a fully customized installation!

We would like to thank our all those who were involved in protecting this beautiful F40.
